TTC installing more PRESTO fare gates
in subway stations



Now that the TTC has finished installing its first PRESTO-enabled fare gates in Main Street Station, it’s starting to install more of them in its rapid-transit stations.

Crews start installing the gates in these stations shortly, with the TTC planning to enable PRESTO in all of these by summer:

Line 1 Yonge - University:
Line 2 - Bloor Danforth

PRESTO devices are already available in these stations (but without the new fare gates):

  • Davisville;
  • Bloor;
  • College;
  • Dundas;
  • Queen;
  • King;
  • Union;
  • St Andrew;
  • Osgoode;
  • St Patrick;
  • Queen’s Park;
  • Museum;
  • St George;
  • Yorkdale; and
  • Downsview.
Line 2 - Bloor Danforth:
  • Kipling;
  • Islington;
  • Dundas West;
  • Bathurst;
  • Spadina;
  • St George;
  • Yonge; and
  • Broadview.
Line 3 - Scarborough
  • Scarborough Centre.
Line 4 - Sheppard
  • Sheppard-Yonge; and
  • Don Mills.
