Another look at four future subway stations, April 28



< — Sheppard West Station

Late last year and earlier this year, you looked over the TTC’s plans for four future subway stations, part of the project to extend the Spadina leg of the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina subway northwest from Downsview Station to York University and Vaughan.

Now, during an open house on Wednesday, April 28, the TTC’s offering you a second chance to review its plans for the

  • Sheppard West,
  • Finch West,
  • York University and
  • Steeles West Stations .


York University Station — >

Sheppard West Station will rise south of Sheppard Avenue West, beside GO Transit’s Barrie train line, just west of Chesswood Drive. Finch West Station will dominate the north-east corner of Finch Avenue West and Keele Street. York University Station will emerge from the east end of the Harry W. Arthurs Common on York University’s Keele Campus and Steeles West station will stand at Steeles Avenue West and North West Gate on the edge of the campus.

The open house takes place from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at:

York Woods Library, Theatre

1785 Finch Avenue West
(at Tobermory Drive,
east of Jane Street, west of Sentinel Road.)
