83 Rexdale (1972-1984)

November 26th, 1972

A new route established, providing rush hour service on Rexdale Boulevard. Buses operate from an on-street loop via Islington and Bergamot to Rexdale and then west to an off-street loop on the south side of the road at Precision Road, a block east of Highway 27. Service is provided by a single bus out of Queensway garage operating at 20 minute intervals.

February 3rd, 1984

Last day of service. Effective Monday February 6th, this route replaced by a branch (37C) of the 37 ISLINGTON route running from Islington Station.
