Malvern Garage

Malvern Garage, located near the north-west corner of Sheppard Avenue and Markham Road, was officially opened on July 21, 1983, with operations beginning on July 24, 1983.

The 228,000 square foot facility has 2 wash racks, 2 fueling stations, and a Eurovac system. There are 12 40-foot hoists, 3 60-foot hoists, and 4 inspection pit stations at this garage.

The 260 bus fleet consist of GMC - T6H5307N, FIL-D-901, OBI ARTIC, NFIL-D40-90, and OBI ORION V buses.

Originally the garage served 8 routes, namely CUMMER, FINCH EAST, KENNEDY, MIDLAND, ROUGE HILL, SHEPPARD EAST, STEELES EAST, and YORK MILLS.

As of April 1, 2002 Malvern Division serves these routes: BELLAMY, FINCH EAST, FINCH WEST (NIGHT), HIGHLAND CREEK, HUNTINGWOOD, LAWRENCE EAST, MARKHAM ROAD, McCOWAN NORTH, MIDDLEFIELD, MILNER, NEILSON, NUGGET, PROGRESS, SHEPPARD EAST, STEELES EAST, VAN HORNE, and YORK MILLS
