TTC W-09

W-9 - TTC Snow Scraper Car (1922-1966)

TTC snowplow W-9 sits outside of Lansdowne carhouse on January 22, 1966, next to an unidentified PCC, and in front of snow sweeper S-41. Built in 1922 as a snow scraper, it was converted to a plow in 1942. It would be renumbered W-3 later that year, and converted to a flat motor in 1973, before being sent to the East Haven, Connecticut museum in the late 1970s. The photographer is unknown.
