TTC W-03 0200

W-3 - TTC Construction Car (1973-197?)

TTC Flat Motor W-3 started life in 1922 as snow-scraper car W-9. It was converted to a snowplow in 1942, and then renumbered W-3 in 1966. In 1973, the plow was removed, and the car was used to carry equipment. It didn't last long, though. This photo (photographer unknown) was taken in 1979 in the railway museum at East Haven, Connecticut, where TTC Flat Motor W-3 lived out the rest of its days.
