TTC 2232

TTC Birney-built double-ended car #2232 (ex-Civic car #68) was among a class that often found themselves on routes like COXWELL and PARLIAMENT during the 1940s. These routes had lower ridership which were suited to the smaller vehicles, and the lack of turning loops made double-ended cars a requirement. Car #2232 is about to change ends at Coxwell and Queen on April 2, 1940. The photographer is unknown and the photo is from the Dave Shaw collection.
