On July 10, 1980, TTC A8-class all-electric PCC #4522 can be seen crossing Queens Avenue in Mimico. At this point, route 507 was the only streetcar route to operate almost completely outside of the boundaries of the old City of Toronto. It owed its existence to the established streetcar-suburbs of Mimico, New Toronto and Long Branch. This photo is by Joseph Testagrose.
