From 10 p.m. Friday, June 14 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 17, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Albion Road between Clareport Crescent [east] / Codlin Crescent and Steinway Boulevard

as Ontario Ministry of Transportation contractors relocate the overpass carrying Albion over Highway 427. The work is part of the Ontario project to widen Highway 427.

Brampton Transit is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 50 Gore Road.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 73C Royal York via Albion.

From 10 p.m. Friday, June 14 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 17, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Peel Region Highway 50 and Steeles Avenue, then detour:

eastward along Steeles;
southward along Signal Hill Avenue; and then
west- and southward along Steinway Boulevard to Albion Road,
resuming their regular route southeastward along Albion.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Albion Road south of Steeles Avenue, at Clareport Crescent [west and east] and across from Steinway Boulevard.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Steeles Avenue at Alcide Street and Signal Hill Avenue,
  • on Signal Hill Avenue at Steinway Boulevard and
  • on Steinway Boulevard west of Signal Hill Avenue and at Albion Road.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Albion Road west of Steinway Boulevard and at Codlin Crescent and Steeles Avenue.
