Metrolinx contractors continue building the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line between Mount Dennis and Kennedy.


Monday, June ,10, crews start unloading and storing rail

  • on Eglinton Avenue West, westbound lanes, between Blackthorne Avenue and Westside Mall

near the site of the future Caledonia Station.

The rail blocks the traffic lanes “for approximately one (1) week” or until about June 17, while crews are installing the rail in the tunnel.


For transit passengers

  • Expect delays aboard buses along these routes:
  • 32A / 32C / 32D Eglinton West; and
  • 332 Eglinton West.

For motorists

  • Just one lane is available for westbound motorists between Blackthorne Avenue and Westside Mall.
