Metrolinx contractors continue building the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line between Mount Dennis and Kennedy.

Crews continue building the LRT “guideway” — the transit-only lanes in the centre of the roadway, including tracks and passenger amenities

  • on Eglinton Avenue East at the Don Valley Parkway

between the sites of the future Wynford and Aga Khan stops.

From 12:01 a.m. Sunday, May 26 until 5 a.m. Monday, May 27, Toronto Hydro and Crosslinx Transit Solutions crews are relocating utility infrastructure near the Parkway on- and off-ramps at Eglinton Avenue East. (Crosslinx is the Metrolinx contractor for the LRT project.)

Metrolinx is co-ordinating the project with the City of Toronto’s plans to close the entire Don Valley Parkway for its annual spring maintenance this weekend.

Crews are excavating, relocating the utility infrastructure and then repaving the roadway from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. Sunday, May 26.
