Starting Monday, January 7, the northbound bus that usually arrives on Stone Road east of October Lane [south] at 2:59 p.m. continues to serve stops on Stone Road before going out of service. It ends its trip on Stone Road [north] east of Bayview Avenue at 3:03 p.m. (The bus starts its trip on McLellan Way east of Bathurst Street at 2:35 p.m.)

The northbound bus that usually arrives on Stone Road east of October Lane [south] at 7:13 p.m. continues to serve stops on Stone Road before going out of service. It ends its trip on Stone Road [north] east of Bayview Avenue at 7:17 p.m. (The bus starts its trip on Seneca College’s King campus at 6:30 p.m.)

401 Brother Andre high school special via Box Grove

Service resumes Monday, January 7.

YRT is also operating an extra bus on the afternoon trip along the route. Both buses leave 16th Avenue east of Fincham Gate - across from St. Brother Andre Catholic Secondary School - at 2:45 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days. Both end their trips on 14th Avenue east of McCowan Road at 3:28 p.m.

YRT operates buses on new southbound trips along the route Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours.

The buses leave Bur Oak Avenue across from Anderson Avenue - beside Mount Joy GO Station - at 6:40 and 7:20 a.m. They end their trips in Finch GO Bus Terminal at 7:20 and 8:05 a.m.

90 Leslie

YRT resumes extra service along the route Starting Monday, January 7, it again operates buses on extra trips along the route Monday-to Friday afternoons.

Starting Monday, January 7, it resumes the southbound bus that leaves Leslie Street north of Highway 7 at 2:38 p.m. It ends its trip in Don Mills Station bus terminal at 3:04 p.m.

It also resumes the northbound buses that leave Don Mills Road north of Steeles Avenue West at 2:29 and 2:34 p.m. They end their trips in Richmond Green loop at 2:59 and 3:04 p.m.

By operating extra trips, YRT improves service for passengers travelling from St. Robert’s Catholic High School.

YRT is also increasing the frequency of service along the route.

YRT is revising the path so that eastbound buses no longer operate along Simonston Boulevard.

Starting Sunday, January 6, buses operate along their usual route to Don Mills Road and Simonston Boulevard [north], then proceed:

southward along Don Mills to Simonston Boulevard [south],
resuming their usual route southward along Don Mills.

Eastbound buses no longer drop off or pick up passengers at stops

  • on Simonston Boulevard at German Mills Road, Thurgate Crescent, Waggoners Wells Drive and Don Mills Road.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a new stop (for this route)

  • on Don Mills Road at Simonston Boulevard [south].

Westbound buses continue to serve these stops, operating along Don Mills Road to Simonston Boulevard [north] then circling counterclockwise around Simonston before returning to the northern intersection with Don Mills and resuming their usual route northward along Don Mills.

The westbound bus that usually leaves Markham - Stouffville Hospital at 8:03 a.m. Mondays to Fridays leaves, instead, five minutes earlier at 7:58 a.m. It drops off or picks up passengers at stops along the route as much as five minutes earlier than usually. It ends its trip on High Street west of Burke Street in Sutton at 8:46 p.m.

By operating the bus on a later trip, YRT improves service for passengers transferring to the bus from GO Transit trains at Newmarket GO Station.

Starting Sunday, January 6, YRT decreases service along the route and adjusts the schedules to match the operating hours at Vaughan Mills.

Southbound buses leave Vaughan Mills Terminal at 11:03 a.m. Sundays and holidays and every 31 minutes until 12:36 p.m., 1:22 p.m. and every 46 minutes until 4:26 p.m., then every 31 minutes until 8:03 p.m. and then 8:30, 9:01 and 9:30 p.m. They arrive in Finch GO Bus Terminal at 10:41 a.m. and every 31 minutes until 1:17 p.m. and every 43 minutes until 5:07 p.m., then every 31 minutes until 7:31 p.m.
