Metrolinx contractors continue building the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line between Mount Dennis and Kennedy.

Starting Monday, August 20, as part of construction of the future surface alignment for the LRT, crews are relocating telecommunication utility infrastructure

  • on Eglinton Avenue East, north side, between Birchmount Road and Warden Avenue.

Crews will temporarily block sections of sidewalk, each section about 30 metres long, one section at a time, to relocate the infrastructure.

They’ll work every day from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Expect construction-related noise.

Crews continue relocating telecommunication infrastructure “for approximately one (1) month”, or until September 23.
