Less frequent Lakeshore East GO trains,
July 6 to 8



GO Transit is decreasing the frequency of service along the 09 Lakeshore East line this weekend. Trains operate every hour, instead of every 30 minutes, Friday, July 6 evening and all day Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8.

GO says its crews are maintaining a railway crossing near Guildwood GO Station, “to help ensure safe and reliable service.”

Friday, July 6:

Eastbound trains operate hourly starting with the 7:17 p.m. train from Union Station. GO is cancelling the trains that usually leave Union at 7:48, 8:43, 9:43, 10:43 and 11:43 p.m. Friday and 12:43 a.m. Saturday.

Westbound trains operate hourly starting with the 7:38 p.m. train from Oshawa GO Station. GO is cancelling the trains that usually leave Oshawa at 8:08, 9:08, 10:08 and 11:08 p.m.

Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8:

Eastbound trains operate hourly all day. GO is cancelling the trains that usually leave Union at 43 minutes past the hour.

Westbound trains operate hourly all day. GO is cancelling the trains that usually leave Oshawa at 11 minutes past the hour.

Connecting GO buses along the 51 Pickering / York U, 81 Port Perry / Whitby, 88 Peterborough / Oshawa, 90 Lakeshore East and 96 Oshawa / Finch express routes operate with their regular schedules. Durham Region Transit and TTC buses to and from GO stations operate with their regular schedules.
