Ian Macdonald / York University construction:
Brampton Transit, TTC, YRT detours, July 5 and 6

Transit agencies have been detouring buses off York University’s Keele campus since Monday, March 5, due to an ongoing labour disruption. But the agencies are only detouring their vehicles, while picketers are blocking and delaying vehicles entering and exiting the campus.

Whenever pickets are not on duty — generally, Mondays to Fridays before about 7:30 a.m. and after 3:30 p.m. and all day Saturdays, Sundays and holidays — the buses operate along their regular routes through the campus.

Overnight from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 5 until 6 a.m. Friday, July 6, York University is closing

  • Ian Macdonald Boulevard between Founders and The Chimneystack Roads

so that contractors can repair the storm sewers.
