Toronto Transit Commission meets, April 16

The Toronto Transit Commission meets Monday, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. in Committee Room #3, North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street.

During this special meeting, the commissioners consider a confidential report. The commission deferred discussing the report — about redeveloping TTC lands at Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West — from its April 11 meeting. Immediately after the chair convenes the meeting, the board holds a private session as “the Committee of the Whole”.

You can view the agenda for the meeting here (.pdf).

You can read the non-confidential parts of the staff report here (.pdf).

The commission is the TTC’s board of directors. It oversees matters of policy and planning, building, maintaining and operating the TTC system and expanding its services and facilities.

Commissioners include City of Toronto councillors and members of the public.
