Some GO trains pick up Union Station passengers
at different platforms, starting February 14

Starting today, Wednesday, February 14, Metrolinx is enhancing safety and communications systems at Union Station, including better platform lighting, electronic signage and a new public address system. It’s also repairing stairwells.

During this phase of the ongoing project to revitalize Union Station, some GO Transit trains pick up passengers at different platforms than usually in the station.

Starting today:

  • Barrie line trains leave platforms 11 and 12 at 4:10, 5:05, 6:05 and 7:05 p.m. The 7:40 p.m. train leaves from platforms 9 and 10.
  • A Kitchener line train leaves platforms 9 and 10 at 5:02 p.m.
  • Lakeshore East line express trains leave platform 24 at 5:35 and 6 p.m. Local trains (making regular station stops) leave platforms 25 and 26 at 5:40 and 6:13 p.m.

Metrolinx is assigning extra station attendants and transit safety officers to help guide passengers. Always check the departures boards before heading up to the platform.
