Spadina Station streetcar terminal upgrades:
TTC detour early December 12, 13

The TTC is improving its cautionary warnings on the Spadina streetcar right-of-way to motorists approaching the streetcar tunnel north of Sussex Avenue early Tuesday, December 12 and Wednesday, December 13.

From 12:01 until 5 a.m. each day, crews are adding rumble strips on the concrete track allowance and installing more signs at the bottom of the ramp. They’ll use a milling machine to create the large impressions on the concrete.

The TTC is also detouring streetcars operating along these routes during the project:

  • 310 Spadina overnight;
  • 510 Spadina.

Shuttle buses replace the cars between Spadina Station and Queen Street West.
