Metrolinx and York Region contractors continue the project to build a rapidway — bus-only lanes in the centre of the roadway — along Yonge Street in Newmarket.


Starting 7 p.m. Friday, November 3, the Town of Newmarket is closing

  • Eagle Street at Yonge Street

to accommodate the contractors, who are rebuilding and paving the roadway and painting lines on the new road surface to support the future rapidway.
