You can learn more about MiWay’s plans to improve its services in 2018 by dropping into one of four information events next week.

MiWay intends to increase service levels along major corridors and introduce more express services to power its grid network in 2018. The theme for the third year of the MiWay Five transit service plan is “Powering the Grid”.

According to the transit agency, “MiWay Five is a five-year plan (2016 - 2020) that is shifting Mississauga’s transit system to a grid network that allows for more frequent buses along main corridors and delivers more direct services. The plan also optimizes… the Mississauga Transitway, which will be completed with the opening of Renforth station this fall.”

You can view the presentation for the events here. (.pdf).

You can comment on the plans by attending one of the sessions or on-line here.
