Starting Monday, September 4, MiWay provides passengers with more service on the Mississauga Transitway.

It’s introducing new Sunday service along the 107 Malton express route and supplying more frequent service Mondays to Fridays and Sundays. It’s also increasing the frequency of service Mondays to Fridays along the 109 Meadowvale express route. Meanwhile, buses operating along the 110 University express route start dropping off and picking up passengers in Erin Mills Transitway Station.

In other news, MiWay is resuming many of its extra service to and from colleges, universities and high schools.

Expect more changes when the easternmost station on the transitway — Renforth — opens later this fall.

Starting Tuesday, September 5, MiWay again operates the southbound MiLocal bus that usually leaves City Centre Terminal at 7:53 a.m. Monday-to-Friday school days. The bus ends its trip in Port Credit GO Station bus terminal at 8:31 a.m. It’s also again operating the southbound bus that usually leaves Cawthra Road south of Arbor Road at 3:15 p.m. The bus ends its trip in Port Credit at 3:25 p.m.

That same day, MiWay also again operates the northbound buses that usually leave Cawthra north of Dexter Crescent at 3:11 and 3:13 p.m. The buses end their trips in City Centre Terminal at 3:40 and 3:42 p.m.

The bus that previously started its trip on Cawthra north of Dexter at 3:10 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days starts, instead, on Hurontario Street south of Mineola Road East at 3:02 p.m. It still arrives on Cawthra north of Dexter at 3:10 p.m. and ends its trip in City Centre Terminal at 3:37 p.m.

Buses also operate on new northbound extra school trips. The buses leave Port Credit at 3:06 and 3:10 p.m. They arrive on Cawthra north of Dexter at 3:19 and 3:23 p.m. They end their trips in City Centre Terminal at 3:47 and 3:51 p.m.

Starting Tuesday, September 5, MiWay again operates the eastbound MiLocal buses that usually leave Truscott Drive west of Lorne Park Road at 2:48 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days. The bus ends its trip in Port Credit GO Station bus terminal at 3:04 p.m.

It also operates a bus on a new eastbound extra trip along the route. The bus leaves Truscott west of Lorne Park at 2:52 p.m. It ends its trip in Port Credit at 3:08 p.m.

That same day, MiWay also again operates the westbound bus that leaves Port Credit GO Station at 3:26 p.m. It ends its trip on Southdown Road north of Bromsgrove Road at 3:47 p.m.

MiWay continues to improve service to the Mississauga Transitway by operating MiExpress buses along the route at more times of the week.

Starting Sunday, September 10, buses operate along the route Sundays from about 7 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. They drop off or pick up passengers at all stops along the route every 21 minutes.

Buses operating along the 107 Malton express route share stops with buses serving the 109 Meadowvale express route at all Transitway stations west of City Centre Terminal and in Skymark Hub. At these common stops, buses drop off or pick up passengers:

  • every 10½ minutes, instead of every 21 minutes, Sundays.

Summer service ends and regular service resumes.

The fall / winter academic term at Humber College’s North campus starts Tuesday, September 5. That same day, MiExpress buses serving this route resume operating to and from the campus Mondays to Fridays after about 7 a.m.

MiWay is also increasing the frequency of service along the route at other times of the week.

44 Mississauga Road

Summer service ends and regular service resumes.

The fall / winter academic term at the University of Toronto’s Mississauga campus starts Tuesday, September 5. That same day, MiWay resumes operating MiLocal buses on extra southbound trips along the route. The buses leave Queen Street South south of Barry Avenue at 8:24 and 8:41 a.m. Mondays to Fridays. They end their trips on the campus at 8:36 and 8:53 a.m.

29 Park Royal - Homelands

Summer service ends and regular service resumes.

Starting Tuesday, September 5, MiWay again operates the southbound MiLocal bus that leaves Sheridan Centre terminal at 2:20 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days. The bus ends its trip in Clarkson GO Station bus terminal at 2:49 p.m.

That same day, it again operates the northbound bus that leaves Bromsgrove Road east of Constable Road at 2:41 p.m. The bus ends its trip in South Common Centre Terminal at 3:10 p.m.

Starting Tuesday, September 5, MiWay again operates the southbound MiLocal buses that leaves Tomken Road north of Britannia Road East at 7:06 a.m. Monday-to-Friday school days. It ends its trip on Stanfield Road north of Middlegate Road at 7:31 a.m.

It also again operates the southbound buses that leave Tomken Road south of Eglinton Avenue East at 2:16 and 2:20 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days. (Two buses serve the 2:20 p.m. trip.) The buses end their trips on Stanfield Road north of Middlegate Road at 2:33 and 2:37 p.m.

That same day, MiWay again operates the northbound bus that leaves Tomken Road just north of Dundas Street East at 7:36 a.m. It ends its trip on Lorimar Drive south of Cardiff Boulevard at 8:10 a.m.

46 Tenth Line - Osprey

Summer service ends and regular service resumes.

MiWay is revising the path and resuming service to and from the University of Toronto’s Mississauga campus Mondays to Fridays along the 101A branch of the route. By restoring this service along the branch, it’s also increasing the frequency of service at the stop on campus.

Starting Labour Day, Monday, September 4, MiWay revises the path so that MiExpress buses operate through Erin Mills Transitway Station.

Southbound buses operate along their usual route to the off-ramp from westbound Highway 403 to Erin Mills Parkway, then proceed:

westward along the Transitway through Erin Mills Station to the loop west of the station, then turning around and proceeding
eastward along the Transitway, stopping at platform 6 on the south side of the station, then continuing
eastward along the Transitway to Erin Mills Parkway,
resuming their regular route southward along Erin Mills.

Southbound** buses drop off or pick up passengers at a new stop

  • in Erin Mills Transitway Station at platform 6 on the south side of the station.

Northbound buses operate along their usual route to Erin Mills Parkway at the on-ramp to eastbound Highway 403, then proceed:

northward along Erin Mills;
westward along the Mississauga Transitway, stopping in Erin Mills Station at platform 4 on the north side of the station, then proceeding:

westward along the Transitway to the loop west of the station, then turning around and proceeding
eastward along the Transitway to Erin Mills Parkway; and then
southward along Erin Mills to the on-ramp onto eastbound Highway 403,
resuming their regular route.

(MiWay buses operating along the 11 Westwood and 30 Woodbine route continue to serve the stop at various times of the week.)
