Delays on GO's Lakeshore East and West trains tonight



GO Transit is reporting delays for passengers traveling on both the 01 Lakeshore West and 09 Lakeshore East lines this evening.

In the west, a police investigation prevents trains from operating to and from the Hamilton GO Centre.

The train that left Union Station at 5:02 p.m. is holding on the tracks east of Hamilton during the investigation. The delay is now more than 25 minutes behind schedule. (The train usually arrives at the Hamilton GO Centre at 6:16 p.m.)

GO has ended the train that left Union at 5:34 p.m. at Aldershot GO Station. (The train usually arrives in Hamilton at 6:48 p.m.) GO buses are transporting train passengers between Aldershot and Hamilton.

Also, an equipment issue affecting an earlier train is delaying the train that left Union at 6:43 p.m. by 10 to 15 minutes. (The train usually arrives in Aldershot at 7:48 p.m.)

In the east, signal issues east of Guildwood GO Station are disrupting train service.

The issue is delaying the train that left Union Station at 5:21 p.m. for more than 49 minutes at Guildwood Station. (The train usually arrives at Oshawa GO Station at 6:18 p.m.)

The train that usually leaves Oshawa at 5:41 p.m. has been waiting for the problem to clear for more than 28 minutes at Oshawa. (The train usually arrives in Union Station at 7:38 p.m.)
