Update — 4:33 p.m.: The terminal has re-opened and regular service has resumed.

York Regional Police have closed the Newmarket GO Bus Terminal to investigate an incident. According to CP24 News, the police are investigating a possible homicide after someone found a body in the bus terminal around 4 a.m. today.

GO Transit passengers do not have access to the terminal or the parking lot.

GO buses are picking up and dropping off passengers on the west side of Eagle Street West, just south of Davis Drive West.
