Police investigation at Dufferin Station disrupts subway service




Update — 6:35 p.m.: CP24 news reports that Toronto Emergency Medical Services staff took a man from beside a collector’s booth in Dufferin Station to hospital with a stab wound in the neck. Police are searching the area for one male suspect.

Update — 6:11 p.m.: Regular service has resumed.


Toronto Police Services are investigating an incident at Dufferin Station.

TTC trains serving the 2 Bloor - Danforth line are operating through the station without stopping. Passengers cannot enter the station from the street or transfer to the subway from buses operating along the 29 Dufferin route.

Passengers traveling to the area of Bloor Street West and Dufferin Street should make alternate plans.
