DRT diverts buses in Pickering

Starting today, Monday, January 28, the City of Pickering began a construction project on Douglas Avenue and Front Road in Pickering.

Durham Region Transit will divert buses on the R6 Bay Ridges route during the project, which will likely continue until April.

Buses operate along their regular route to Liverpool Road South and Haller Street, then continue southward along Liverpool, westward along Commerce Street and southward along Pleasant Street, resuming their regular route at Pleasant and Annland Streets.

DRT West buses operate along the R6 Bay Ridges route during Monday-to-Friday rush hours only.
