Trivia

  • The station originally shared the design of the Bloor-Danforth line in that it had 2 toned ceramic tiling throughout the station. Initially the station had cream colored walls with blue trim similar to Yonge Station on the Bloor-Danforth line. This was changed in the late 2000’s at which time the current reddish brown finishes were installed.
  • There is a barred off area at the southern end of the platform. This is a result of a series of security incidents that took place on the University line back in the 1970s that resulted in parts of Museum, St. Patrick and St. Andrew stations being walled off.
