Peter Witt 2766 Returns to the Public Eye

Text by James Bow

Thanks to the the Toronto Transit Commission, and the efforts of tireless railfans, historic Peter Witt car 2766 has undergone considerable restoration and is ready to show off its new colours. In August 2003, the TTC took car 2766 to the Exhibition and put it on display in the National Trade Centre. This display was a link back to other TTC displays at the traditional Toronto fair, from the unveiling of the first PCCs to the CLRVs and the ALRVs.

Railfans were on hand to see Peter Witt 2766 stand proudly before visitors.
