Transit Toronto Regional Transit Pages
James Bow was in the right place at the right time to catch the Stouffville GO Train deadheading back to Union at 3:18 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013. As it entered Kennedy station, led by cab car #227, a Scarborough RT train left to head northbound, while a TTC bus crossed the Eglinton Avenue bridge above. So, this picture captures three of the four public transit options available at this station.
We have a few new articles to announce. We have revised and updated the History of the Stouffville GO Train article, and we also have a chronology of the GO Dial-a-Bus experiment from the 1970s. Elsewhere in the region, we have a brief history of electric transit in Hamilton. In the near future, look for a photo-essay on the history of the Niagara, St. Catharines & Toronto railway.
Photos and suggestions for articles are always welcome. If you would like to contribute, don’t hesitate to contact us.
