Service begins on a new all-night bus service operating from Main Street station via south on Main, east on Danforth Avenue, northeast on Danforth Road, north on Warden, east on St. Clair, northeast again on Danforth Road and north on McCowan to the Scarborough Town Centre. Buses return via the reverse route.
Service provided from 2:23 a.m. to 5:55 a.m., Mondays through Saturdays and from 2:25 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. on Sundays. Buses connect outside Main Street station with the existing 10 BLOOR-DANFORTH NIGHT BUS and the CARLTON night car service.
By September 1975, service was assigned route number 93. It is not known if the service was assigned route number 93 from the start, as that would have conflicted with the 93 WOODBRIDGE route which was still in operation at the time. Initially, buses bear a blank destination sign with “DANFORTH EAST NIGHT BUS” window cards. 93 appears on night route maps by March 1976 and, eventually, rollsigns appear as follows:

Coincident with the extension of the BLOOR-DANFORTH SUBWAY to Kennedy, service rerouted so that northbound buses operate from Main Street station via south on Main, east on Danforth Avenue, northeast on Danforth Road, north on Warden, east on St. Clair, north on Kennedy, east on Eglinton, northeast on Danforth Road, north on McCowan to the Scarborough Town Centre. Southbound buses operate from the Town Centre via south on McCowan, southwest on Danforth Road and west on Danforth Avenue to Main Street.
