In order to avoid a left turn from Danforth Avenue onto Birchmount, and to provide a more convenient transfer for northbound passengers, all eastbound buses are rerouted via Danforth, east on Parkette (just south of Danforth) and north on Birchmount, returning to the old route.

May 11, 1968

In conjunction with the extension of the BLOOR-DANFORTH SUBWAY from Woodbine to Warden, buses are extended west from Luttrell loop to Main Street station. Buses operate from Main Street station via south on Main, east on Danforth, east on Parkette Place, north on Birchmount, east on Highview, north on Kennedy Road, east on Park and north on Midland, looping clockwise via Danforth Road and Wolf to Midland, returning via the reverse route (turning right from Birchmount directly to Danforth instead of Parkette Place).
