138 South Kingsway (1989-1996)

February 6th, 1989

A new rush hour route from Jane Station via west on Bloor Street and south on South Kingsway, looping clockwise via Ormskirk Avenue, Southport Street and the Queensway. One bus in service from Queensway Division on a 20:00 minute headway.

February 16th, 1996

As part of a systemwide reduction in service resulting from an elimination of provincial subsidy, service on this route is eliminated. Service on Ormskirk Avenue and a portion of South Kingsway between Ormskirk and the Queensway provided by a rush-hour extension of the 71 RUNNYMEDE bus.
