November 22, 1980

Coincident with the extension of the Bloor-Danforth subway to Kipling, 111 WEST MALL is introduced to replace sections of 87 MALL CIRCLE, 3 KINGSWAY and 32B EGLINTON WEST. Buses run from Kipling Station north on Aukland, west on Dundas, south and east on West Mall Cres., north on West Mall, north on Wellesworth, east on Eringate, north on Rangoon, west on Wellesworth, north and west on Gentian, north on Renforth and west on Eglinton to the new off‑street loop just west of Renforth. Monday through Friday daytime trips are extended north of Eglinton running north and east on Renforth, north on Carlingview and east on Disco Rd, looping south on Brockport, west on Belfield and north on Attwell.

January 4, 1982

Alternate buses running to Disco Road are rerouted south of Eglinton (both ways) via Renforth, Eringate and Wellesworth.

March 12, 1984

A new rush hour service is inaugurated through the Skyway Ave industrial area. Buses run from Kipling Station over the regular route (via Rangoon) to Renforth & Eglinton then north on Renforth, east on International, south and east on Galaxy, north on Skyway and north on Attwell, looping via east on McLachlan, north on Brockport and west on Marmac.

February 13, 1994

The 112C Skyway branch is extended north to Disco Road and midday service is added, replacing the original 112 branch. 112C buses run over the current route to Attwell & McLachlan, then run via McLachlan, Brockport, Marmac and Attwell looping east on Disco, south on Brockport and west on Belfield.

September 6, 1994

The 112B and 112C branches are connected in the Disco Road area to become a two way loop. 112B buses operate to Brockport & Belfield, then become route 112C, returning southbound via Belfield, and Attwell etc to Kipling Station. 112C northbound buses operate north on Attwell and east on Belfield to Brockport. The sign is changed to 112B for southbound trip, they run north on Brockport, west on Disco and south on Carlingview etc. to Kipling Stn. Service via McLachlan, Brockport and Marmac is discontinued, and buses operate both ways via Attwell in this area.

March 27, 1995

Express trips added between Kipling Station and Michael Power / St .Joseph’s High School at Eringate & Renforth. The service is provided northbound (to the school) is the morning peak period and southbound (from the school) is the afternoon peak period. Express trips are not operated in the summer months with school is not in session.

September 6, 1998

Service on the 112E branch is limited to just two morning peak period trips. Afternoon express trips are no longer operated.

October 18, 1998

Co-incident with the reduction of rush hour service to the industrial area north of Eglinton a new rush hour branch is introduced to the Skymark area. Buses run from Kipling station over the regular route (via Renforth) to Renforth & Eglinton then loop west on Eglinton, north on Explorer, east on Skymark south on Commerce and east on Eglinton.

February 15, 1999

All rush hour trips to and from Disco Road now run via Rangoon (112F) instead of via Renforth (112B).

February 14, 2000

Early evening weekday service introduced to the industrial area north of Eglinton. During these hours a one way loop will be operated northbound via Rangoon (112F) and Carlingview and southbound via Skyway and Rangoon (112C).

January 07, 2001

A new Sunday and Holiday service is operated north of Eglinton to Disco Road between 8.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. Northbound buses will run via Rangoon and Skyway (112C) and southbound via Carlingview and Rangoon (112F), similar to the early evening service introduced in February 2000.

January 4, 2002

Last day of early evening Monday through Friday service to Disco Road. All trips during this period now run to the Eglinton & Renforth loop.

May 11, 2003

The structure of the route is simplified so that all buses now run via Rangoon in the area south of Eglinton. Service is removed from Renforth between Gentian and Eringate, and on Eringate between Renforth and Wellesworth. All service north of Eglinton operates north via Skyway and south via Carlingview is are marked as 112C.

June 20, 2004

Sunday daytime service to Disco Road is discontinued. All service cut back to Eglinton on Sundays.
