New Eglinton Garage

The New Eglinton Garage, located on Comstock Road, between Pharmacy Avenue and Warden Avenue, opened on March 31, 2002 (replacing Danforth and Old Eglinton Garage —jb).

The garage has 2 wash racks, 2 fueling stations, a UWE heating system for buses stored outdoors, 14 40-foot repair hoists, and 4 inspection pit stations. The 279 buses include GMC - T6H5307N, MCI - TC 40102N, OBI - ORION V, and NFLYER LF vehicles.

As of April 1,2002 Eglinton Division operated these routes: - AIRPORT ROCKET, AVENUE ROAD, BAYVIEW, BLOOR-DANFORTH BRIMLEY, COSBURN, CUMMER, DAVISVILLE, DOWNTOWN/ DON VALLEY EXPRESS, EGLINTON EAST, FLEMINGDON PARK, KENNEDY, LAWRENCE EAST, LEASIDE, LESLIE, MIDLAND, MORNINGSIDE, PAPE, PARLIAMENT, SCARBOROUGH, SHEPPARD EAST, SHERBOURNE, SOUTH LEASIDE, THORNCLIFFE PART, WELLESLEY, YONGE.
