Metrolinx and York Region contractors continue building a rapidway — bus-only lanes in the centre of the roadway — along Highway 7 West, Centre and Bathurst Streets between Dufferin and Yonge Streets.


Starting 7 a.m. Saturday, June 1, crews start preparing for overnight paving activity

  • on the Yonge - Highway 7 Connector Road,

blocking traffic lanes.

From 8 p.m. Saturday, until 7 a.m. Sunday, June 2, the Region of York is closing the roadway in stages, while crews pave the surface.

From 8 p.m. Saturday, until 2 a.m. Sunday, crews pave between the entrance to Richmond Hill Centre Terminal and Highway 7. Buses can still access the terminal.
