Lawrence West Station construction:
TTC revising bus service, starting June 24

Starting Monday, June 25, the TTC is upgrading various parts of Lawrence West Station, including:

  • installing new skylight seals;
  • rehabilitating the roof; and
  • repairing concrete and tiles.

So that crews can safely complete this work, the TTC is closing the bus roadway. Passengers can exit from or board buses at street level on the north and south sides of Lawrence Ave West. You’ll find temporary bus stop poles just outside the station entrances on both sides of the street.

Customer service agents and signs throughout the station will help direct you through the station or to your stop.

During construction, the TTC is revising service along these routes:

  • 52 Lawrence West;
  • 59 Maple Leaf;
  • 109 Ranee; and
  • 400 Lawrence Manor community bus.

During construction, you’ll need a proof of payment when you transfer between the Line 1 Yonge - University subway and the buses at Lawrence West. Get a paper transfer when you pay your fare — the transfer will serve as your proof of payment. (PRESTO fare-card users must also use a paper transfer during this construction project.)

Construction in Lawrence West Station and the changes to bus services continue until October 6.
