Distillery District Christmas Market:
TTC detour, November 16 to December 23

The Distillery District is hosting the Toronto Christmas Market again this year.

The large number of market visitors and their vehicles often block traffic on Mill Street.

From Thursday, November 16 until Saturday, December 23, the TTC is detouring buses operating along this route to avoid Mill during the market:

  • 121 Fort York - Esplanade.

From Thursday, November 15 until Saturday, December 23, westbound buses start their trips on Cherry Street at Mill Street, then proceed:

southward along Cherry;
westward along Lake Shore Boulevard East; and then
northward along Parliament Street to Mill,
resuming their regular route northward along Parliament.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Mill Street west of Cherry Street and at Trinity and Parliament Streets.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Cherry Street at Mill Street and
  • on Parliament Street north of Mill Street.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
