TTC installing PRESTO fare gates
at St Andrew Station, starting November 8

The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

St Andrew Station is next.

TTC crews are removing turnstiles and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

Crews start working Wednesday, November 8. Passengers enter and exit the station only through the collector-booth aisle or a temporary collector booth aisle. A PRESTO card reader is available beside the station collector during construction. Customer-service staff will help you find your way through the station.

The TTC is closing the station to passengers from 10 p.m. Friday, November 10 until 6 a.m. Monday, November 13.

During this weekend closure, trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University line do not stop in the station. You must walk to Queen’s Park or Osgoode stations to board the trains.

To buy a PRESTO card, visit the Gateway Newstand in St Andrew Station or prestocard.ca.

PRESTO fare-gate construction in St Andrew Station continues “until early February” or until February 9.
