You can ride any HSR bus free of fare to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats game against the Edmonton Eskimos, Saturday, August 12 at 7:30 p.m. — if you hold a valid ticket to the game.

With the HSR’s Ticket to Ride program, you can ride free of fare to Tim Horton’s Field for as much as two hours before game time and free of fare from the stadium until the end of service.

You can also take advantage of Tiger-Cats Express shuttles. Park your car at or near one of three terminals across the City and the HSR will whisk you directly to the stadium on an express bus — and then take you back to one of the three terminals after the game. (You can also take another HSR bus to one of the four terminals — just show your game ticket to the bus operating and that’s your ticket to ride.)

2 Barton

Buses serve all local stops between the Hamilton GO Centre, downtown Hamilton and Barton Street East at Lenister Avenue North — just one block north of Tim Hortons Field.

3 Cannon

Buses serve all local stops between the Hamilton GO Centre, downtown Hamilton and Cannon Street East at Balsam Avenue North — just south of Tim Hortons Field.

Tiger-Cats Express shuttles

From 7 a.m. Saturday, August 12 until 6 a.m. Sunday, August 13, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Avenue Road and Bloor Street West, then detour:

westward along Bloor West;
northward along Bedford Road;
westward along Prince Arthur Avenue; and then
southward into St George Station terminal,
ending their trips.

  • on Queen’s Park across from Charles Street West,
  • on Queen’s Park Crescent West south of Hoskin Avenue and beside Hart House and the University of Toronto Library and
  • on Queen’s Park Crescent East north of College Street.

  • in St George Station bus terminal.

Northbound buses start their trips in St George Station bus terminal, then proceed:

southward along Bedford Road; and then
eastward along Bloor Street West to Queen’s Park / Avenue Road,
resuming their regular route northward along Avenue.

The TTC is detouring bus service, while the streets are closed.

Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 and before 3 a.m. Monday, August 14, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Danforth and Donlands Avenues, then detour:

northward along Donlands;
westward along Mortimer Avenue; and then
southward along Broadview Avenue to Danforth,
resuming their regular route westward along Danforth Avenue.

  • on Danforth Avenue across from Jones Avenue, at Woodycrest, Pape, Carlaw, Logan and Chester Avenues, Playter Boulevard and Broadview Avenue.
