Kipling Station bus roadway construction starts July 17

The TTC is rebuilding the entire bus roadway and the ramp to the roadway at Kipling Station. Contractors are also:

  • repairing concrete on the subway structure; and
  • installing new fencing, sidewalks, storm sewers, catch basins and lighting.

Crews work only behind construction hoarding. The contractors will establish a safe work zone to allow crews to work during the day without impacting passengers.

Crews mostly work on this project Mondays to Fridays from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. They may occasionally work weekends to keep the project on schedule. From time to time, they may also work overnight, when suppliers deliver material and equipment. For safety reasons, these deliveries can only occur while buses are not operating in the station.

Bus-roadway construction at Kipling Station continues until March 1, 2018.
