From 10:30 p.m. Monday, July 10 until 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, Bell Canada crews are working in the track allowance on

  • Broadview Avenue at Langley Avenue.

The installation prevents the TTC from operating streetcars over its tracks on Broadview north of Gerrard Street East. It’s detouring cars operating along these routes, while the crews work:

  • 304 King overnight;
  • 504 King; and
  • 505 Dundas.

Shuttle buses replace the cars, operating between Broadview Station and King Street East / Parliament Street.

From 10:30 p.m. Monday, July 10 until 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, westbound cars start their trips on Gerrard Street East west of Broadview Avenue, then proceed:

along their regular route southward along Broadview.

  • on Erindale Avenue at Broadview Avenue,]
  • on Broadview Avenue at Danforth Avenue, across from Wolfrey Avenue, Millbrook Crescent and Withrow and Langley Avenues and at Jack Layton Way and Gerrard Street East.

Instead, westbound cars drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

Eastbound cars operate along their regular route to Dundas Street East and Parliament Street, then detour:

northward along Parliament; and then
eastward along Gerrard Street East to Broadview Avenue,
ending their trips.

From 10:30 p.m. Monday, July 10 until 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, buses replace streetcars operating along the 304 King overnight, 504 King and 505 Dundas routes between Broadview Station and King East / Parliament Street.

Westbound buses start their trips in Broadview Station terminal, then proceed:

westward along Erindale Avenue;
southward along Broadview Avenue; and then
eastward along Queen and King Street East to Parliament Street,
ending their trips.

(The TTC has not announced how the buses loop at the west end of their route, but on previous occasions when buses have ended their trips at King Street East and Parliament Street, buses have looped:

(southward along Parliament;
(westward along Front Street East;
(northward along Berkeley Street; and then
(eastward along King East to Parliament.)
