King Street transit priority corridor:
Public meeting, May 18

TTC streetcars and buses operating along King Streets East and West between River and Dufferin Streets serve the busiest surface transit corridor in Toronto. They carry as many as 65,000 passengers every Monday to Friday.

In February, City of Toronto and TTC staff presented three options for redesigning King Street to prioritize transit vehicles.

Your feedback during that event helped staff to shape a design for a pilot project later this year. You can learn more about the design that staff prefer and offer your comments and ideas at the next public meeting, Thursday, May 18.

The event takes place:

InterContinental Toronto Centre,
Ballroom,
225 Front Street West
(Corner of Front Street West and Lower Simcoe Street)
6:30 until 9 p.m.

The City says that “Consultation and engagement is a critical part of the King Street Pilot Study, and a variety of community and neighbourhood groups, businesses and BIAs, and other key stakeholders will be involved throughout the study.”
