The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Bloor Street West between Bedford Road and Avenue Road / Queen’s Park

from 9 p.m. Thursday, March 25 until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 27, as contractors dismantle a tower crane at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 300 Bloor - Danforth overnight.

Early Friday, March 25, Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Bloor Street West and Bedford Road, then detour:

northward along Bedford Road;
southeastward along Davenport Road; and then
southward along Avenue Road to Bloor West,
resuming their regular route eastward along Bloor.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stop:

  • on Bloor Street West at Queen’s Park.

Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.

Westbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Bloor Street West at Bedford Road.
