Meet TTC managers in subway stations

As part of its customer charter, the TTC has promised to conduct three “Meet-the-Managers” events in subway stations and terminals each quarter.

The events give you the opportunity to speak with TTC managers one-on-one. The TTC’s chief executive officer, Andy Byford and chief customer officer, Chris Upfold, may attend some, but not all, of these sessions.

At the event tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15, from 5 until 6 p.m. in Ossington station, you can meet Gary Shortt, the TTC’s chief operating officer.

Gary is responsible for:

  • bus maintenance and shops;
  • operations control;
  • plant maintenance;
  • rail cars and shops;
  • revenue operations;
  • streetcars;
  • subway infrastructure; and
  • subway transportation.

Other TTC managers will also attend tomorrow. They are responsible for:

  • subway infrastructure;
  • stations;
  • bus transportation;
  • customer experience; and
  • customer service. Engineering, construction and expansion

All events take place from 5 until 6 p.m.

The TTC held an earlier “Meet-the-Manager” event in Kipling Station, Monday, February 28.

First Quarter

Tuesday, March 15, Ossington Station.
Wednesday, March 30, Bloor - Yonge Station.

Second Quarter

Thursday, April 21, Main Street Station.
Thursday, May 12, Downsview Station.
Monday, June 7, Kennedy Station.

Third Quarter

Tuesday, July 5, St Clair West Station.
Wednesday, August 10, Sheppard - Yonge Station.
Monday, September 26, Finch Station.

Fourth Quarter

Tuesday, October 18: Eglinton Station
Wednesday, November 16: St. George Station
Thursday, December 8: Union Station
