Clarkway Drive construction:
Brampton Transit detours start September 3

The City of Brampton is widening Clarkway Drive from north of Castlemore Road to north of Bluffmeadow Drive / Valerian Street from two lanes to four lanes, improving intersections, relocating utilities and installing sidewalks.

Brampton Transit proposed rerouting buses operating along the 35 Clarkway and 214 Cardinal Ambrozic high school special routes onto this section of Clarkway, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3.

Since construction is continuing, BT will detour the buses until the City can reopen the roadway.

35 Clarkway
214 Cardinal Ambrozic high school special

Starting Tuesday, September 3, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Castlemore Road and Clarkway Drive, then detour:

eastward along Castlemore;
southward along Regional Highway 50; and then
westward along Bellechase Terrace to Clarkway Drive,
resuming their regular route southward along Clarkway.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
