Update: Subway service resumes to Islington



Update — Wednesday, July 10, 12:03 p.m.: The TTC has restored subway service to and from Kipling Station.


Update — Wednesday, July 10, 8:36 a.m.: MiWay is warning its passengers to expect delays for its buses at Islington Station due to the large number of TTC buses relaying passengers to and from Kipling Station this morning.


The TTC has restored service along the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway line as far west as Islington Station.

Shuttle buses continue to carry passengers between Kipling and Islington Stations as TTC crews work to restore service to Kipling and mop up after Monday’s torrential downpours and flash floods.

The TTC says its assigned 70 buses to supply the shuttle service between the two stations.
