TTC detours, July 8 to 22



The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Chaplin Crescent between Avenue Road and Oriole Parkway

from 6 a.m. Monday, July 8 until 6 a.m. Monday, July 22

to accommodate a project to rebuild the roadway.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along the 14 Glencairn route, while the street is closed.


14 Glencairn

From 6 a.m. Monday, July 8 until 6 a.m. Monday, July 22, eastbound buses move along their regular route to Chaplin Crescent and Avenue Road, then detour:

southward along Avenue Road;
eastward along Oxton Avenue; and then
northward along Oriole Parkway to Chaplin,
resuming their regular route northward along Chaplin.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Chaplin Crescent east of Avenue Road and at Oriole Parkway.

Westbound buses reverse the detour routing.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Chaplin Crescent at Oriole Parkway and Avenue Road.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Oriole Parkway south of Chaplin Crescent.
