Three shuttle buses will serve the shuttle bus route, leaving each terminal on schedule to reduce the inconvenience to passengers and provide sufficient rest and turn-around times for drivers.

Friday afternoon and evening and all day Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon to accommodate the annual music festival.

2 Brant

From 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 14 until 6 p.m. Sunday, June 16, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Brant and Caroline Streets, then detour:

eastward along Caroline; and then
southward along John Street to the Downtown Burlington Terminal.

From 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, buses operate along a longer detour route during the Sound of Music Grande Festival Parade.

Festival Shuttle

From 6 p.m. until midnight Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14, noon until midnight Saturday, June 15 and noon until 6 p.m. Sunday, June 16, Burlington Transit operates non-stop shuttle service along the 1 Brant route between the Burlington GO Station and the Downtown Burlington Bus Terminal.

By parking at the station for free and riding on the shuttle to the festival you can help reduce to environmental effects of driving to the events, and, by contributing $3, you can offset the cost of the service. Buses do not have a schedule, but shuttle continuously between the two terminals. Each bus leaves as soon as it is full.

5 Francis

From 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 14 until 6 p.m. Sunday, June 16, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Ontario and Locust Streets, then detour:

They operate along their regular route to Maple Avenue and Plains Road East, then detour

westward along Plains East and West;
eastward along York Boulevard and Wilson Street;
southward along Catherine Street North; and then
westward along King Streets East and West to just west of James Street North,
ending their trips.

Burlington Transit is also extending the hours of service Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14 so that later buses heading toward Appleby GO Station Terminal leave the Downtown Burlington Terminal at 11:30 p.m. and midnight both evenings. Later buses leave the terminal at 11, 11:30 p.m. and midnight Saturday, June 15.

Later buses heading in the opposite direction also leave the Downtown Burlington Terminal at midnight Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14. Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16, the HSR is operating buses along this route, which it usually only serves Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. At the airport, buses drop off and pick up passengers at a special bus stop on the Airport Tarmac, which the buses will reach along the East Cargo Road. Buses will not serve the regular stop at the main terminal building, but will serve all other regular 20 A-Line express stops.
