Queens Quay loop construction
starts May 9

Update — Tuesday, June 25, 8:01 a.m.: The TTC is revising the route that buses follow to loop at Lower Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay West, starting Saturday, June 29.

The TTC and Waterfront Toronto project to upgrade Queens Quay West and its streetcar right-of-way blocks the Queens Quay / Spadina loop to buses, starting today, Thursday, May 9.

The TTC is detouring the shuttle buses that replace the streetcars that usually operate along the 510 Spadina route south of King Street West, while contractors remove the tracks and re-install new ones.

Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Lower Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay West.

Starting 7 a.m. Thursday, May 9, northbound buses start their trips on Lower Spadina Avenue at Queens Quay West, then proceed:

westward along Queens Quay West;
northward along Dan Leckie Way;
eastward along Lake Shore Boulevard West;
northward along Rees Street; and then
westward along Bremner Boulevard to Lower Spadina,
resuming their regular route northward along Spadina.
