Guelph Transit revises services, May 5

Guelph Transit is making minor changes to several routes, starting tomorrow, Sunday, May 5.


Guelph Transit is revising service along these routes: 2A West Loop clockwise; 2B West Loop counterclockwise; 3A East Loop clockwise; 3B East Loop counterclockwise; 20 Northwest Industrial.


Specifically GT is: adjusting the schedules of current routes; and making other changes to service along a current route.


3A East Loop clockwise

Starting tomorrow, Sunday, May 5, Guelph Transit is making minor changes to the schedule. By adjusting the schedule, GT hopes to improve how passengers connect with other Guelph Transit buses and to help drivers keep on schedule. Guelph Transit staff have listened to feedback from passengers and have now reviewed the route system since GT introduced major route changes in February.

3B East Loop counterclockwise

20 Northwest Industrial

Making other changes to service along current routes


20 Northwest Industrial

Starting Sunday, May 5, GT is adding more stops along the route — and removing others.

Buses serve new stops:

  • beside #221 London Road East (Stop identification #2002);
  • on Willow Road at Marksam Road (Stop ID #2006);
  • on Willow Road at Westwood Road (Stop ID #2008);
  • on Michener Road at Minto Road (Stop ID #2021); and
  • on Curtis Drive at Regal Road (Stop ID #2030).

Buses no longer drop off or pick up passengers at these stops:

  • beside #50 Malcolm Road; and
  • on Michener Road at Massey Road.

GT is also changing the stop ID numbers for several other stops.
