We’re a bit late in posting this information, but you can see a mock-up of the light-rail transit vehicles that the TTC will operate for Metrolinx along the Eglinton-Scarborough Crosstown light rail transit line and other LRT lines in Toronto this evening, Saturday, April 13 and tomorrow, Sunday, April 14 at the Green Living Show.
The LRV mock-up represents a portion of the actual vehicle, a Flexity car, which Bombardier will build for the transit lines. You can check out the LRT car, learn more about the various Metrolinx transit projects in Toronto and area and have a photographer take your picture while you’re sitting in the driver’s seat.
The Green Living Show is taking place in the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place until 9 p.m. tonight and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. tomorrow. (The show was also open Friday, April 12.)
Getting there by public transit:
- TTC buses operating along the 29D Dufferin (Princes’ Gate) route to Manitoba Drive across from Exhibition Loop, behind the Direct Energy Centre.
- TTC buses operating along the 509 Harbourfront route or streetcars operating along the 511 Bathurst route to Exhibition Loop, behind the Direct Energy Centre.
